The opening round, run on a mud-covered course at Hapton in Lancashire.
Mario Roman (Spain, MR74 Racing / Husqvarna TE300) won, finishing six laps eleven minutes clear. Second was the reigning champion Dan Peace, third Richie Moorhouse. It was the debut outing for Roman's new bike under his own team.
