Which one you want

The two calendars carry different things, because the people reading them want different things. Almost nobody flies from Japan to ride Erzberg, so for the world calendar the question is when it happens and who won. Inside Japan most readers are riders who intend to enter, and their first question is not the race date but the entry deadline.

What we hold ourselves to

Nothing goes in without a source and a dateNot one without the other. "Saw it somewhere" leaves the reader no way to check.
We do not guessWhere an organiser publishes no round number or venue, we print none. The sequence often implies one, but an inference is not what the organiser said.
When an official source contradicts itself, we say soPages from the same organiser sometimes disagree. Rather than quietly picking one, we note the disagreement on the race itself.
No hype, no rankingsYou will not read "the best one" here. Laying out what you need to decide is where our job ends.
We correct what turns out to be wrongWhat we cannot verify is marked unconfirmed. What we later learn gets corrected in the open, not quietly deleted.
