South America’s flagship hard enduro, started in 2009 by Sebastián Cisneros. It runs in three stages: “Montaña Extreme,” about 40 km of mountain navigation where GPS is mandatory; “Súper Enduro – Straight Rhythm,” best-of-three head-to-head races on an obstacle course; and “Encierro Extremo – Hare Scramble,” the multi-lap main event through rivers, slopes, a quarry and forest. Classes are Oro, Plata and Bronce, each with age divisions (+30, +40, +50 and junior) and an electric class. Note that the official site still only covers the 2025 event (Chevrolet UKUPACHA 2025 – Reinvention Edition, 21–22 June, at Machachi and Tambillo); the dates of 6–8 November 2026 come from the HEWR event list, and the venue has not been announced.
