A hard enduro held at Nantmawr Quarry, a disused quarry near the England–Wales border, run by WOR Enduro Sport (WOR Events). The venue is where The Tough One — one of Britain’s legendary races — ran for many years, won over that time by David Knight, Graham Jarvis, Jonny Walker and Billy Bolt (Bolt took the last one). This event is positioned as the continuation of that line, and the name “Dead ’Ard Cuz” is a dialect spelling of “dead hard cousin.” The 2026 running lasted about two and a half hours over rock gardens and technical climbs. The organisers said they set out to design a course that “worked as a race rather than a queue.”
Bert Boam (GASGAS) won. Charlie Frost led for more than half the race, but Boam caught and passed him in the rock sections at the top of the quarry. Jack Spencer (Beta) was second, a lap down, with Ben Tennant (Beta) third.
