The 2026 EnduroGP season opener, held at Custonaci in western Sicily — the championship’s first visit to the island since 2011. It ran on dry, dusty, rocky Mediterranean ground, and day one saw the EnduroGP top ten covered by under nine seconds. Each EnduroGP round is a two-day event scoring championship points per day: riders start individually into loops of six to seven hours and are timed only on the special tests each lap — an enduro test on natural terrain, a motocross-style cross test, and an extreme test — with the lowest total time winning the day.
Josep García (KTM) held off Steve Holcombe to win day one. Brad Freeman (Beta) took day two — his first win since 2024.
